Grace Rosier is a junior at Marist Catholic High School. She is currently studying violin with Searmi Park and Fritz Gearhart. She has been studying chamber music for many years through Community Music Institute (CMI), and has participated in Ambassadors Music Program for community outreach. She won the Portland Chamber Camp concerto competition in 2014, the ESYO concerto competition in 2015, and the Eastern Music Festival concerto competition in 2015. She is currently the concertmaster of ESYO. Grace has attended numerous summer festivals, including Portland Summer Ensemble, Haystack chamber music camp, Chamber Music of Portland, Marrowstone Music Festival where she was concertmaster, and Eastern Music Festival as assistant concertmaster. She has played in masterclasses for Midori and Ida Bieler. Grace also enjoys running and is on the varsity cross country and track teams.
