Rosaura Reyes

Born in Mexico City, she began studying violin at the age of three and gave her first recital when she was five years old, in the Silvestre Revueltas hall of the National Conservatory of Music.

Debuted as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional of Mexico at the age of eight in the main hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. From that moment on, she has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes, Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco, Orchestra Arteus and again with the National Symphony Orchestra twice more, among others.

Since 2008 she is a member of the Orquesta del Teatro de Bellas Artes, which has taken her to perform in several theatres in Mexico, and work with great conductors of national and international media. She is also member or the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería.

She has attended master classes, in countries such as Austria, Croatia, Italy, Russia and Spain, with renowned teachers such as Iouri Zhislin, Lutsia Ibragimova, Oleg Khriza, Sergei Teslya, Philipp Quint, Viktor Tretjakov and Asija Kouchner, among many others.

She has performed in different international theatres in countries like Austria, Italy, Spain, Moscow, Belgium, the Netherlands and Croatia. Rosaura completed her Bachelor degree at the Escuela de Música Vida y Movimiento, under the tutelage of the great teacher Natalia Gvosdetzkaya, and her Master degree in the Conservatorium Maastricht, belonging to the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
