Violinist Connor Allison is an active chamber and orchestral musician in the Chicagoland area. Mr. Allison has studied at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University with David Taylor and Stefan Hersh. Mr. Allison has performed with numerous community orchestras such as the Classical Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra as well as the CCPA symphony in Chicago's Orchestra Hall. As a chamber musician, Mr. Allison's string quartet, the Waubonsie quartet, performed at a gala for the Chicago Sinfonietta in 2012. The Waubonsie quartet also performed at the Allerton Chamber Music Symposium where they collaborated with members of the Pacifica Quartet. Notable chamber coaches include Winston Choi, MingHuan Xu, Mark Lakirovich, Stefan Hersh and Julian Hersh. Mr. Allison is the recipient of the CCPA Wanda Manke Scholarship. Awarded for his academic and musical excellence demonstrated while he attended CCPA.
