Salvadoran violinist and Suzuki teacher Sara Moran started her violin studies with Julio Cesar Rodriguez in 2005 at the age of 14. In 2009, she began to teach violin in Forma Acustica Suzuki Music School, getting her first Suzuki certification in the 2010 Suzuki Festival in El Salvador.
Sara was part of the Orquesta Juvenil Forma Acustica in 2009, and also was the associate concertmaster in the Orquesta Sinfonica Cristiana (OSC) from 2011 to 2013.
She has traveled to Costa Rica and Unites States to get different certifications and trainings by outstanding teachers such as Kerstin Wartberg and Brian Lewis. She is an active member of the El Salvador Suzuki Association (ASUSAL) and is the teacher of the Musical Stimulation and Violin Suzuki Program in LaGeo Early learning center.
Sara is currently part of the first violin section of the Joven Camerata de El Salvador (JOCA), where she has been a member since 2013. She is a student of the Salvadoran violinist Gilberto Reyes.
Education is Sara's passion. She is a preschool teacher with experience in the new educational trends, working methodologies such as Montessori, and multi-sensory classrooms and activities, neuroscience in education, and more. She is in favor of inclusive education and has worked both in schools and in classrooms of support for children with special educational needs.
